Almost every other name used here is a pseodonympseudonimpseudonymn alias.
The rest of it is true - mostly - and all of it is my own.
Don't even think about taking any of it, unless of course, you want to pay me.

Travelin’ Man
Ralph is a travelin’ man. Not in the Masonic secret handshake and satiny apron sort of way, but in the packing a bag, grabbing his passport and hitting the road way. What makes him special to me is that he’s my beloved 88 year old father-in-law and he’s making plans for his next big adventure. Next June, he’s heading to Portugal, Spain and Morocco and he’s taking Leonard with him.
This will be Leonard’s first trip abroad and he’s getting amp’d up in a big way.
Of course he doesn’t yet have his passport. Today he plans to beat feet to the passport office to get the thing started. Is this an appropriate time for me to mention that I’ve been after him to get his passport since 2004, when it cost almost $100 less and he wasn’t pressed by impending travel? Maybe not, but the old “I told you so” is so close to the tip of my tongue, I can taste it.
Anyway....I’m excited for both Ralph and Leonard. It will be their first trip together and I’m sure that they’ll have a grand time.
Me? I’m staying home this time, tending the hearth fires and making sure that the girl finishes her high school year, knowing well that there will be lots of time for Leonard and I to hoof it together in a just few more years.
My challenge now is to research the trip for them without becoming too intrusive. Leonard just hates that.
