I am really looking forward to heading down to the old cinema house to see Brokeback Mountain for more than a couple of reasons...Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger to mention just two.
I don’t think Leonard will willingly join me for exactly the reasons I want to see it. He’s no homophobe but he really hates this sort of movie...one he will probably categorize as a chick flick...you know one of those “explore relationships” sorts of experiences.
The truth is that if there are no robots, pirates or big special effects, he’s not so into it. Some might consider that a personality flaw but I just think it’s part of what defines my man....my man with that little boy on the inside.
I’m going to tell him that Brokeback Mountain is a cowboy movie.
